Privacy Policy — SellWA

SellWA is a WhatsApp-commerce app for Salla stores, provided by Evo-Shift ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data SellWA accesses and processes, and how we use and protect it.

1. Information we access from your Salla store

When a merchant installs SellWA, we access — via Salla's API, with your authorization — your store information and settings, product catalogue and categories, branches, and orders. We use this to display your catalogue on WhatsApp and to create and update orders.

2. Customer information we process

When a customer interacts with the store over WhatsApp, we process their WhatsApp phone number, name (as provided), delivery location (if shared), order contents, and the messages exchanged with the bot. We may generate a placeholder email to create the order in Salla. We process this data solely to provide the ordering service.

3. How we use data

• Show your Salla catalogue to customers on WhatsApp.
• Take orders and create corresponding orders in your Salla store.
• Send order confirmations and status updates to customers.
• Provide a secure checkout link for payment.

4. Sharing

We share data only as needed to provide the service: with Salla (to create and manage your orders) and with Meta/WhatsApp (to deliver messages). We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored securely with access controls and encryption in transit; access tokens are encrypted. We retain order and conversation data only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

6. Billing

Subscription billing and the free trial are handled by Salla. We do not store your payment-card details.

7. Your rights

Merchants can disconnect SellWA at any time by uninstalling it from Salla. Customers can request access to or deletion of their data by contacting the store or us at shady@evo-shift.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date reflects the latest version.
